Since the first edition we never have missed the support and the collaboration of the magazine QUERCUS to the DELTA BIRIDING FESTIVAL. His support in the publicity of the event, his participation in several activities and, finally, his report at the magazine, have been always one of the big helps of the festival.
This year Rafael Serra, the director of the magazine, will be the speaker of one of the most attractive sessions at the Agora, the dedicated to talk with three extraordinary global birders: Mark Van Beirs, one of the few that has achieved to observe more than the 90 % of the species of birds of the world, having travelled tirelessly as a guide of BIRDQUEST during more than 30 years to all corners of the planet. Dani Lopez Velasco, his colleague at BIRQUEST at present, and an emergent figure of the Spanish ornithology for his level of knowledge in the identification of birds. And finally, Josep del Hoyo that adds to his huge experience observing birds all over the world, an incredible work as one of the main publishers in world-wide ornithology. Certainly, the conversation will combine anecdotes of the trips with the most interesting reflections on the conservation and the state of biodiversity world-wide.
Other than this, Rafa, with Eloïsa Matheu, will accompany Luisa Abenza to the presentation of his book on tracks of birds: “Aves que dejan huella”, that is having a big publishing success between all the amateurs to the ornithology and the nature in general.
