Conor Jameson is a feature writer, author and conservationist that works in the RSPB. With his first book “The Silent Spring Revisited”, he explored the legacy of Rachel Carson, who first raised the alarm over the perils of pesticides sweeping across Britain and America and the demise of songbirds.

In this talk, Conor explains his fascination for the species, the ‘phantom of the forest’, and the people and places (including Spain) he got to know in the course of his investigation that ended with the publication of his second book “Looking for the Goshawk”.
