The Delta Birding Festival, after 5 editions, has become one of the most important events in Spain for everything that is related to birds and nature, also for the publishers that take the opportunity to present some of the latest books.

The list starts with the new guide by Fran Trabalón and Alex Ollé on European raptors, edited by OMEGA. Do not miss a publication, written and edited in our country, but with the aim of becoming a reference at European level! It is also worth approaching to hear Jordi Longás explaining his new book on where to see birds and nature in Catalonia. Francisco Torrents will present us “Burung“, a travel literature book, but in this case, it is an ornithological trip! And finally, Luisa Abenza comes with the second edition of her successful guide of bird tracks “Aves que dejan huella“.

Among the invited speakers we also have authors of great international fame and they will be available to their readers to sign books and have the opportunity, even if ephemeral, to greet them. Tim Birkhead has revealed himself as one of the best authors of scientific literature on ornithology, with books that have become best sellers in England on the senses of birds, on the natural history of the egg or on the history of the most relevant ornithologists since the beginning of this science. And Magnus Robb, is one of the members of the “Sound Approach Team”, an ornithology books publisher whose books are of great scientific interest, but with a very particular format, of great quality for the layout, for the participation of illustrators of the size of Killian Mullarney and for the high quality edition.

And also the TV naturalist and documentary filmmaker Jaume Sañé, the Finnish photographer Lassi Rautiainen and the biologist Evelyn Segura will be present to sign their respective books.

All presentations and signing sessions will be made in the AGORA space and you will find the books at the ORYX stand, with the festival discount!
