Canids and wild bovids of the world, two handbooks published by the prestigious publisher PRINCETON and written by José Ramón Castelló, a global naturalist.

In 2016, came “Bovids of the world. Antelopes, gazelles, cattle, goats, sheep and relatives “in which each species is treated with photos illustrating the male, the female, the calf and, if there are, the different subspecies, always in profile, perfectly cut on a white background. And in 2018 followed “Canids of the World. Wolves, Wild Dogs, Foxes, Jackals, Coyotes, and their relaitves “, with the same pattern, about thats other great family of mammals. Both have received excellent reviews from all corners of the world and are a great publishing success.

The author of both will come to the DBF to explain how and why he decided to face the challenge of writing these handbooks, something exceptional nowadays, with the special reward of being Spanish, from Madrid, medical doctor by profession and member of the SECEM (Spanish Society for the Study and Conservation of Mammals).
