The Ebro Delta is a unique site concerning not only biodiversity but also landscape, gastronomy and overall services always provided by this land’s main asset: its people. For that reasons, the Delta Birding Festival also wants to showcase local natural and cultural values of this land.

Many local companies are supporting the Festival as an opportunity to strengthen and position the Ebro Delta at an international level.

The Patronat de Turisme de les Terres de l’Ebre (local Tourist Board), the Municipality of Amposta Associació d’Empreses i Activitats turístiques del Delta de l’Ebre and the Ebro Delta Natural Park are public institutions giving institutional and promotional support to the Festival. Local companies from the private sector such as Infosa, Creuers del Delta, Riet Vell, and some hotels (l’Algadir, Mediterrani Blau,…) are also boosting the event.

We thank them all for the support provided that will certainly raise the Festival’s profile on the international scene.

We also would like to thank Casa de Fusta and Ecomuseu of the Natural Park of Ebro Delta, because with your DBF ticket you will be able to visit these two symbolic spaces for free.

Casa de Fusta, located next to the Encanyissada lagoon, is one the most emblematic constructions of the Delta. There you will find the ornithological museum, with a representative collection of the birds that live in the Ebro Delta. There are 182 specimens of 134 different species that shows the peculiarity of each one of Delta’s ecosystems.

The Ecomuseu of the Natural Park of Ebro Delta, located in Deltebre, introduces the visitant in the human and natural values of the zone. The museum suggests an itinerary where the typical environments of the Delta like the river, the lagoons, the rice fields and the riverbank forest, are recreated.
