The presentation is a compilation of the photographs (and some videos) about the project of reintroduction of the peregrine falcon in the city of Barcelona and its surroundings, throughout its twenty years of history.
From the initial year of the project, in 1999, Oriol Alamany accompanied the team that made the first “Hackings”. Then, almost every year he has been documenting his work to carry out a report on the life of the falcons in the city that will soon be reflected in a book.
The first years were more documentary photographs, which served to spread the work done with the laborious project to all kinds of publications. But for a while now he has put the emphasis on the most aesthetic part of the photographs, combining the image of the wild falcons living among the buildings of the city, some of them as emblematic as the temple of the Sagrada Familia by Salvador Gaudí, the former thermal power station of Besós, the grain silos of the Port of Barcelona, or the skyscrapers of Toyo Ito.
